This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of William M. McCord, MD, a leader in the field of medical education in the United States who had a major impact on the development of the St. George’s University School of Medicine clinical program.
These partial-tuition scholarships are awarded to students who withdraw from a term due to compelling personal reasons, and when they return to resume their studies suffer undue financial hardships that affect their ability to pay for their education. These awards are grants-in-aid and do not have to be repaid.
